I am a single Mom of a gorgeous 23 year-old baby boy who for the most part has been my reason for striving to succeed. We remian best friends, but I have always been Mom first and foremost. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Michigan and moved to Tennessee after my parents had been living here a few years themselves. My own mother remains my best friend and I miss Dad more than I can say. I still can not believe he is gone. I live a very simple life that is mostly consumed with work, if not at the office, it is here at home doing all the housekeeping chores. I have lived in this house for about 20 years now and it has been quite lived in, but it is mine(smile). I am an easy going person for the most part, but I am known to be moody at times. I love to laugh and can find humor in most situations. It has been a great coping tool over the years. When I find time to relax, it is usually organically. Those days come far and few between it seems. I am a big girl and have been my whole life. Well, with the exception of the years I was wired on speed, that is! I have spent alot of time convincing myself and others that despite the extra weight I carry around with me, I am indeed very worthy. What a job that has been. I am my own worst critic as I strive for excellence in all that I try to accomplish.
