Stormy DeFalco

If you love me, you would sequin my heart.

About Me

I'm a phoenix trapped in a cocoon of my own guilty design. I'm a puzzle wrapped in a giggle and scarred with a frown. I'm a five pointed triangle. I'm a poet with no words, a novelist with no novel. I'm a flame with no heat. I'm an ink that disappears. I'm cold knuckles on a Sunday. I'm the tremor under your eye, the great intake of breath before screaming. I am Sam, and I am Chase, and I am someone else completely. I am dirty, I am pure; I am doughy, I am poor. I am the iceberg. I am the volcano. I am Chase. I am.

My Interests

Interests, so, thusly, what is interesting? Mm. Fish. Fish are interesting. Technically, all living sentient things interest me, as I cannot read their minds and understand what it is they're thinking. Books are interesting, because I want to know what the author had to do, what they went through to write it. Music is the same way for me, with the curious want to know how it was done. Chemical reactions mystify me daily, that's interesting. The fact that the moon and sun are approximately the same size when seen from the surface of our planet is also interesting, most especially when you consider the fact that back in the days of the dinosaurs the moon was much closer to Earth, thusly larger (also, days were much shorter and years many days longer). Ok, to summate, give me an odd fact and I'll call it interesting.

Music:

SUFJAN STEVENS!! Hot IQs, Matson Jones, Superargo, Bjork, The Figurines, Wolf Parade, Mindless Self Indulgence, Gogle Bordello, They Might Be Giants, Modest Mouse, Aphex Twin, Cibo Matto, The Pixies, Liz Phair...it's a big list.

Movies:

The Dark Crystal, Toys, Team America, Altered States, Waiting For Guffman, Best In Show, A Mighty Wind, The Royal Tannebaums, The Life Aquatic, anything Godzilla, Battle Royale (!!), Old Boy, The Green Mile, Butterfly Effect, Gremlins, etc...

Television:

Fuck TV. BUT...I love Scrubs. And you have to love The Simpsons. Except the episode in which Sideshow Bob marries Selma (or was it Patty?) because it was during that episode that my cat was shot. So, yea. Ah, and because I've been newly introduced, WONDERFALLS. Such wonderous beauty.

Books:

AUTHORS: Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, Tom Robbins, Michael Moorcock, Robert A. Heinlein, Robert Jordan, H. R. R. Martin, C. S. Friedman, Larry Niven, Ursula K. LeGuin, Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut, Roald Dahl.

Heroes:
