DIE KNACKIGE 3TRACKER EP IST DIE VORABSINGLE (FEBR.2008) ZUM BEVORSTEHENDEN 2TEN HOUSEMEISTER ALBUM „WHO IS THAT NOIZE“
IM MAY 2008.
"INORDERTODANCE IS A HIT! HOUSEMEISTER IS BERLIN’S REAL CURRYWURST AMBASSADOR!"
Who else but MODESELEKTOR the kings of techno satire could have stated a quote like that? Well, you might like Berlin’s famous wurst or not but you will most definite love HOUSEMEISTER!
It’s not easy to keep pace with the vibrant energy of this original techno B-Boy who started out as a DJ in the early 90s, way before minimal came across. Back then every track was as new as the machine it was made with and the dance floors were all about adventure. And that’s the spirit that Housemeister carries forward in his productions, whether on high profile BPITCH CONTROL imprint, on best buddy’s BOYSNOIZE Records or on his very own label ALLYOUCANBEAT. Housemeister’s rave-proven mind is overflowing with creative madness, wicked sounds, galloping beats and last but not least with the talent to design his own graphics where he lets cute robot boys and robot girls live happily on record sleeves and heaps of stickers (Berliners can tell, you’ll find them all over the city...).
Before his much anticipated second long player "WHO IS THAT NOIZE?" will hit the stores in May 08 you can now warm up with AYCB 10, the pre-release EP "INORDERTODANCE"!
Three club-savvy tracks deliver a mouthwatering impression of the album to come, each tune speaking a slightly different language generated by Housemeister’s unique studio-routine of jam session recordings and the use of heavy heavy machines.
The title track has already been licensed for Boys Noize new mix CD for Bugged Out which does not surprise us really considering the intriguing quality of "Inordertodance": a hint of Speedy Jay, a dash of (a totally not depressed) Anne Clark and a whole lot of Berlin’s most wanted trademark sound make this primetime killer a guaranteed shaker for your derriere.Whilst the B.1 track "THATCANBEAT" seems to be more contained on first view you will quickly experience Housemeister’s true passion. Listen to the massively distorted drums and the lively hi hats and you will know that Housemeister’s heart beats in an analogue rhythm.
He reigns fatherly over his machines with no fear to bend them for the better, a nutty professor on a mission to stretch analogue boundaries to the max.
And so B.2 "HERBEAT" is as a whole created on a skilfully re-modelled Roland TR707, equipped with 15 rocker switches and 10 extra controls to let the track morph around 16 patterns in one long distorted take.
Nuff said - let the music take control and get ready for HOUSEMEISTER
and
"WHO IS THAT NOIZE?".
