Jojo Watz studied music from the early age of seven, starting with the Flute, then Sax and Piano. After many years at The Purcell School of Music - a specialist classical music school in London, she took up singing, started to write original material and took a huge interest in Jazz. Jojo then earned herself a vocal scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA and went on to receive a BA(Hons) degree in Jazz.
To further her music career, she spent time doing session work for various artists and recording studios including Sanctuary Records, who she originally signed with. Sessions in Zurich with production company 'Spacetrain' led to one of their tracks (Return of the Spacechild) being released on a european chill out album, Klassik Lounge Werk 2. Jojo is currently finished working on a collaberation for a TV commercial for Phillips in French. It has just started to be aired in Holland and will soon be on its way to other countries including France and Germany. Alongside the ad she is working on her debut album here in London. The album has a chilled, yet commercial, jazzy vibe to them.
Singing and playing Piano has also become her trademark, (along with those huge hoop ear-rings, which we believe she sleeps in!!!!!!) - she has played for recording artists including John Barrowman, Nate James, Roisin Murphy (Moloko), Jocelyn Brown and Marti Pello (Wet Wet Wet) for concerts, music videos, and various television performances including GMTV and T4.

Jojo is still tied to her jazz style roots but is venturing towards a more commercial market. She has done residencies at hotels around thworld including Mavida, Austria and Intercontinental, Abu Dhabi
Jojo has also recently got involved working with various DJs and live musicians doing live ad lib style souly vocals in clubs and for events worldwide such as Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, '360 Istanbul' and Supperclub.
