STORY OF MINISTER DÖD
It all started out in late 2005 when Ced, Vidar and Elof talked about putting together a hardcore punk band. Vidar came up with the name and Elof the basement to rehearsal inm so we started out right on.
Just a week after starting the first demo was recorded. It sucked!! Dont even ask to get it. It wont happen the last thousand years. Ced played on this demo so the gig week after had a stand-in drummer called Tyr.
Then 2006 came in and more things started to happen.
We decided to change line-up so Elof took the drums, Ced bass and vocals and Vidar stayed on guitar.
Another demo was recorded, much better. I wont forbid anyone to get this piece of shit, it's not killing your brain, like the first one did.
Some gigs was played with this line-up. After this we worked on getting a little better, but it was hard. Elof took the bass again (and stayed there for all future). And we had no drummer because Ced only had vocals now. So the following three demos was recorded with Ced on stand-in drums. They are called Polpots Nationalgarde, Negerslav and Svart Regn.
To play live we had to get some help from people we knew, but there was not really anyone who could play drums like it was meant to be played (mostly too slow) but some of them was Anton from the hardcore band Vasenkätinen, and King Kong. Dont think we ever had anyone else then them, but not sure actually.
Now it was 2007. Some gigs was played, but nothing really happened. Then we found a drummer from our hometown (which wasnt the case with the others) called Tord Simon from hc band Abnormal and thrash band Lethal Attack. He was best so far but soon moved to Bjursås a long way from here, so he could only stay for a little while.
This time nothing happened for almost half a year... Felt like the band was dead, but it was only sick. And now we are getting better again.
2008, where we are now, seems a little brighter. We found out that Lort Simon from Anger Burning, Infanticide and Assassination was a good drummer, also from Gävle, so we decided to take him into the band.
What will happen now? Wait and see!!!!
