The story of Blissful D,We met through a little restaurant called Ribs in the summer of 2005. Audie the general manager had interviewed a smart ass who wanted to be a waiter named Eric. A slight friendship began when Audie asked " Are you in school or have any other jobs that would not allow you to work?" Now I believe what was said was "No all I want to do is play guitar and get high. After all sex/drugs/Rock N Roll" With a reply from the man Audie Brown of "oh really I'm a drummer looking for a band." Thus started a beautiful relationship. 7 months later Audie introduced his younger brother a phenomenal guitarist named Matthan we started to jam. The original bassist was a dishwasher form Ribs as well as being a cousin to the brothers his name was Shane. Needless to say it was not working out with the 16 yr old who was a much better drummer than a bassist. Besides the kid wanted to be a preacher. So we then stole a truly gifted god amongst men the great and usually late Jonny Bang. He was at the time playing with a group H.D.Y.S.C. Not fulfilling his needs musically he jumped ship and joined. Now with the band being together for four months before Jonny got involved he picked up the pieces rather quickly and gave us the added umph that we needed. After our first show and not practicing for like a month. We ultimately decided that we sound better as a three piece and let Matthan go on to pursue other options. Now after a year and a half the three amigos with a few songs in the bag have decided to spread our selves around like mono at a junior college in Ohio. Forever plaguing the earth with our music of Blissful Destruction. We are currently involved in the Emergenza the semi finals. We will be playing our biggest venue yet, at the Sunshine Theater in our home town of Alburquerque NM.
