Hip Hop 4 Life is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2003 by Tamekia Flowers. Hip Hop 4 Life's executive team consists of Tanisha Tate, Kierstan Tucker and Ianna Small.
Hip Hop 4 Life's mission is to Engage, Educate & Empower Youth to Adopt A Healthier Lifestyle. Hip Hop 4 Life provides a forum for young people to address important health issues and identify alternative solutions.
Hip Hop 4 Life partners with health industry professionals to educate youth (10-17) on health issues through interactive workshops, health fairs, concerts and empowerment seminars. Additionally, with Hip Hop culture having such a large influence on tweens and teens, Hip Hop 4 Life incorporates artists, celebrities and athletes, along with a fun and inviting atmosphere in an effort to effectively reach such a highly influenced target market.
