Pussy for President is a three guys made band born in november 2004, after many years of rockin the galaxies with different starships Alessandro "the beater", Dario and Cristiano "the duck" have built their own superstellar rock 'n' roll engine. All they do is rockin and rockin all over again just to rock people's bones out of their skin to make 'em dance till they can effort it. Here they are now, after one year of writing and playing they now can give you lots of original compositions and a couple of great covers comin' straight from the rock 'n' roll and blues holy book.
The band has put together their main passions to create the super sound they shoot: The Blues, The rock 'n' roll (has gods wanted it to be) and the women...Their teachers in music can be found by searchin' thru the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion's knockin' rythms, the ass shakin' blues of Willy Dixon thinkin of Howli' Wolf, and so on, R. L. Burniside (r.i.p)...etc...names' list could be neverending...what counts is how powerfully Pussy for President has transformed all these influences in its new millenium Rock 'n' Roll circus.
They are now menagin' to record their first ep, even if a couple of tunes were recorded and will soon be avaible. Step by step this last year it's been great and full of reached aims, first of all the new year's eve gig as supporter for the Rockabbilly band THE HORMONAUTS who will host Pussy's groove again on April 29th 2006. Every concert has been a moment of pure excitement and energy (who was there knows this very well!!!), dust of rock was left behind whereever Pussy for President has played even a single note, this guys know how and what to do when they step on a stage (gotta see!)... Much more has to happen yet, just stay tuned 'cause Pussy for President could be closer to your ears and bones than you might think...
