Brent Bolthouse virtually invented the Hollywood nightlife scene we know today. Since his move from Joshua Tree to Los Angeles 20 years ago, Brent has managed to position himself as arguably one of the most powerful promoters and event producers in the country. From his event production skills to his various club nights, Bolthouse has carved out a niche that has made him more than just a local force. In fact his cache in the Los Angeles scene landed him a starring role on MTVs The Hills , taking Brent from local phenomenon to National personality. And every Monday night, LA hipsters can listen to Brent on his own radio show on Indie 103.1 co-hosted by Danny Masterson.
Recently, Bolthouse Productions and SBE Entertainment Group (SBE) have announced a major joint venture partnership that will see the two entities join forces to develop, promote and operate nightclubs, supper clubs, restaurants, lounges and bars. Under this umbrella, acclaimed designer Phillip Starck signed for an exclusive partnership with SBE Entertainment Group rounding out a virtual dream team of hospitality heavyweights that will redefine the entertainment landscape in Los Angeles for years to come. Additionally, SBE and Bolthouse Events are partnering to develop and expand Bolthouse Events into a full-service special events company. Bolthouse remains the most influential person in the Hollywood nightlife scene. Together with SBE, Bolthouse now owns and operates Priveledge, Lobby and the newest addition to the Los Angeles elite, HYDE. SBE/Bolthouse also recently opened Katsu-ya in Brentwood. Bolthouse Productions continues to infuse style and flair to some of the hottest events in town. Bolthouse Productions has produced major events for clients such as Maxim Magazine, T-Mobile, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba, Jimmy Choo, The Palms Hotel and Casino, Prada, and Dolce & Gabbana.
The early years of Brents career are equally impressive. He has promoted nights at the
infamous Roxbury, The Viper Room and the House of Blues and has also opened hot spots such
as Avalon, Babylon, Opium Den and Sunset Blvd.s Coffee House. Bolthouse also manages
Camp Freddy, comprised of Dave Navarro, Matt Sorum, Donovan Leitch, Scott Weiland and Billy
Morrison. The band has quickly become a Hollywood staple rocking cover songs and linking
up with some of the most legendary artists in music.
Bolthouse is a photo buff and often spends his free time behind the camera. He is a
regular contributer to Mean magazine. He currently resides with his fiancé Emma Heming in the
John Lautner Pollin home that he bought and refurbished.
