STEEL DREAMS is a weekly half-hour television series exploring all aspects of motor sports with celebrities from all fields of speed and entertainment. From the newest custom design trends and design in motorcycles to the hottest road trips STEEL DREAMS is designed to inform, entertain and capitalize on today's fascination with speed
MTD president, John Mansfield, notes, "Steel Dreams has a history of ground-breaking cutting-edge programming and the 2006 season is no exception."
Since the initial air date in Fall 2001, Steel Dreams has been at the forefront of
new talent introductions and coverage of emerging trends. Steel Dreams was first in introducing Jesse James (of Monster Garage fame) to a national TV audience. It also aired the first national interview of famed custom bike designer/builder Arlen Ness and in featuring renown custom bike painter Dave Perowitz, Steel Dreams dubbed him the "Father of the Flame" - a moniker that both stuck and is his "trademark" signature to this day.
Now in its fifth season, Steel Dreams reaches 72% of all U.S. media markets via 171 affiliates. Executive Producer, Michel Attias, states, "We have the right vehicle, the right production team and each individual episode is a powerhouse in and of itself... we are looking forward to what we believe to be our best and most exiting season ever."
PROGRAMING
Motorcycles are just the beginning of STEEL DREAMS program lineup. With STEEL DREAMS tie-ins to speed, sports, and celebrities, the themes and location of future shows are unlimited!
