Daniel Cobbinah – aka BUZZBY RESIDENT AT ACOUSTIXX CAFE1001 - VIBEZ RECORDINGSI got into drum and bass because I was dissatisfied with the music scene as a whole. I needed something instrumental that carried as much weight as the RnB and Hip Hop styles of the day. I didn’t find any of it till I listened to Inner City Life by Goldie. The whole album made a big impression on me. I wanted to hear more of that kind of music.My first gig I went to was Metalheadz at LL (leisure lounge). BREATHTAKING is the only word to describe it. Some time later I managed to get my own decks – imitation technics, actual soundlabs. They were not the best but they got me into mixing and appreciating DnB more.Then tragedy struck which lost me everything: decks, mixer, clothes, car stereo and ALL of my vinyls. I lost the LOT.I like my mixes to be upfront in that you don’t really know what is going to happen but when it does it all meshes and intertwines together. I like to entertain. Influences

Goldie- he started the whole thing off Doc Scott – fell in absolute love with Fabio’s Unofficial Ghost, Doc Scott remix Metalheadz as a whole have produced music that I love. Inperspective – heavily into their sound, BREAKAGE, EQUINOX, CHRIS INP, FRACTURE & NEPTUNE, SEBA, PARADOXOLD SKOOL V RECORDINGS. Artists on that label hurt me with their sound: Dillinja, Lemon D, Krust with Soul in Motion and (A lil more recent) True Stories. XL Recordings, namely JONNY L.
