Texas Made is true to its name, representing Amarillo and Friona Texas this group of talented hip-hop artists is ready to explode onto the national music scene. They possess an original flavor that separates them from every other artist who picks up a pen, a pad and a microphone. You can see the authenticity and legitimacy in their eyes. They offer the truth and this is what is so compelling about these three talented individuals.With first hand knowledge of life on the street Texas Made shows their fans and listeners the dark reality of hustling and being affiliated with a gangs. All three members are former Crips as well as convicted felons. There are so many hip-hop artists out there today who talk about being in gangs or talk about committing crimes simply to sell records. Texas Made is the real deal, and their simply sharing their experiences with those who can relate.Knowing that they could not survive on the streets or in prison the trio took their already developing talents into the studio. Free styling at parties was the test and the public wanted more. After investing in studio time the dream started to become reality. Making music is the only legitimate thing that all three members were drawn to so they took the chance, invested their money and began spending all their free time making music. This project is responsible for keeping the trio creative and focusing on being constructive.Their debut album, Made in Texas and Str8 - Drop is released and available. All songs were recorded in Amarillo, Texas, Friona Texas and Clovis, New Mexico; . Although this is their debut release, Texas Made has a very large local following. Their first large performance was earned by winning a local radio contest on 99.7 to open up for Baby Bash in Amarillo. It was through immense local support for Texas Made that they were placed on the bill. Since, the group has performed in Odessa, Texas with Paul Wall, and on the Invasion Tour with Chingo Bling, Stunta, Lucky Luciano and Lil j and Phreeze. In addition, they have also opened up for Litllle Webbie and NB Ridaz.
