I'd like to meet:

In addition to socializing with friends, I am not adverse to using this site for dating purposes, so it would be great to meet a fun, exciting and emotionally mature woman. Beyond that I have no problem meeting cool people who share similar, if not exact, interests.

Bossa nova, jazz, hip hop, classic rock, metal, grunge, electronica/downtempo, tango

Movies:

Glengarry Glen Ross, Taxi Driver, Godfather I and II, Apocalypse Now, Big Lebowski, Red Rock West (anything with the late J.T. Walsh), Goldfinger, Talented Mr. Ripley, Sunset Boulevard, Chinatown.

Television:

Seinfeld is still the funniest show on TV. All-time favorites are Northern Exposure, Simpsons, What's Happening, Equalizer. I like travel channel, discovery, national geographic, fine living. Sports for sure; espn news is my default channel. MTV for mindless fun.

Books:

Mostly historical non-fiction.

Heroes:

Spicy mustard, pastrami, cole slaw and a pickle
