About Me

Editor / director / photographer www.AnonymousRoom.comThe moving image is source of endless fascination and mysticism to me. As an editor I can cut and adapt to fit any brief, though it is the choices I make when cutting which set me apart from other editors of a similar skill level. My style is distinctive on several levels – to create pace I favour jump-cuts and fast inter-cutting though my biggest kicks come from creating pace while maintaining seamless cuts. Having edited quite a cross section of material I am confident in most genres and feel that my rounded experience brings freshness to what I edit. I see editing as an opportunity to inject vigour into what an audience is viewing through subtleties and originality. Please feel free to look at the 'videos' section.

Books:

Reading books are a very long way of watching a film but without the moving picture bit. Lots of words and you have to imagine everything in your head. They can be a pain, true, but if you read then I would have to say anything by Ian M Banks is a winner.

Heroes:

In another life I am actually Spiderman.
