About Me

I'm a contract illustrator. I love drawing and spend most of my time working on http://www.welcome2therealworld.net/ (my webcomic), http://artphr33k.deviantart.com/ (my deviantART gallery where I post all my art work), and http://theedibles.deviantart.com/ (my dA club). I also try to hit as many Anime Conventions in Texas and Oklahoma as possible. I enjoy rollplaying and get together just about every sunday to play d&d 3.5 with my friends. I'm also working on a sabbath school program with a few of my friends, sort of a round table discussion of the bible and God.
I got on myspace to connect with friends and family, and I'm happy to say I've found alot of old school friends from college and even highschool on here. Pretty cool. I'm married so really this is just a place for me to chat with my friends and look up on new bands. I love just about any kind of music.

My Interests

Music, art, anime, rpg/mmorpgs....um...and by music I mean just about everything. I grew up on grunge but my tastes vary as far as opera and rap. :) But there will always be a special place in my heart for Nervana. Cobain forever!

I'd like to meet:

Um...friends, always enjoy meeting fellow gamers. But sadly, if your looking for a hook up someone beat you to it! :)

Music:

Wow, ok...Grunge, Ska, Punk, SOME Rap, Opera (Carmine is my fav), Classical music (Especially Bach), Alternative, Clasical Rock, Heavy Metal, SOME Country...need I go on?

Movies:

I love horror movies, especially vampire ones. :D My fav director would have to be Carl Laemmle. And my fav actors are Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney (Jr, and Sr), Boris Karloff, and Claud Rains. (Had to have a good guy in there somewhere ;) ) What I really hate though are those movies where its just mindless violence (the most recent example being Hostil).

Television:

My husband has one of those tv recording things so we definitly have our favorites. Scrubs, Lost, SG:1 and SG:Atlantis, Battle Star Galactica, ANYTHING on Adult Swim, Family Guy, Simpsons...probably more but I can't remember them all.

Books:

Erm...thats a long list...Well. To try, I suppose I would say (in no particular order) The Ender series, Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, The Screwtape Letters, The Chronicles of Narnia (all of the books), The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, far too many comics to mention. I know I'm missing alot but this is really all I can think of right now.

Heroes:

Heros..hmm. Ok, again in no particular order, my foster parents, my birth mother, my foster brother, my half brother, absolutely ANYONE who stands up for what they believe. There's more, I'm sure.
