December 5, 2006 Homicide in the 600 Block of Park Road, NW At approximately 10 pm, on Monday, December 4, 2006, Metropolitan Police were called to the 600 block of Park Road, NW, for the report of the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, police located 27-year-old Jamel Wilder, of an unknown address, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was transported to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit, where he died on Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at 2:56 am.The case is under investigation by members of the MPDC's Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.The department currently offers a reward up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
