About Me

i spent many years of my life thinking that i'd end up on a house-boat with a dog on the coast, spending the majority of my life at sea doing marine life research. that, along with all the aquariums i've kept over the past 10 years, sits at my foundation. upon arriving to college, i realized that i had a much larger calling. it stemmed from the idea that i just wasn't satisfied with the idea of doing one thing for the rest of my life. so now i try to balance that. the urge to push the status quo and the feeling that there is so much more to life than trying to make the most of it. as you can imagine, it's quite the dilemma.

...if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours... If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them. -Thoreau

I've noticed a lot of equity being attached to deeds lately. It's a reoccurring theme in my life. I have been accused of being "walked on" many times by different people. I don't always disagree wi...

It took a few years of upgrading, but I can now say that I am finally living in a place that I feel really comfortable in. The kind of comfort that allows you to walk in the door and take a deep brea...
