Lived in Metro Manila, New Orleans, and then New Haven. Loved all of them but New Haven is extra special because it's where I first got mugged. LOL.
Systems administration and teaching on the side keep me occupied. Bar, GPSCY are occasional hangouts. Thai and japanese food are my favorites although good filipino food is hard to beat.
Running, messing with electronics (not the consumer ones), chemistry, geochemistry, geology, fishing, small game hunting, writing a book (hey, you said "interests" not "accomplishments"!) lately, skiing although I suck at it, reading about the early church fathers who I know only little about, snorkelling (not in New England of course), good beer, wine, food, company.
People who I don't have to explain my jokes to. And preferably people who are sane. (It's a small group of people, I know, and I've waived the latter requirement on occasions.)

If I had cable, I'd watch Comedy Central until I barf or drop dead but I don't have cable so I watch the local news and reruns of Mr Rogers instead.
