A classic and jazz formation as a pianist gave Ariel Aguinsky (Capri) the skills to manage with ductility both the arts of composing and harmony. The funky pulse running through his veins provides the necessary groove to make people dance with each of his tracks and the passion for computers made the rest to turn him into an unique and integral performer, able to compose, sing, produce and even remix each of his terrific songs.The path Capri walked up to here has only been a starting for the great future thats ahead. His background includes playing the keyboard in A Tirador Laser band (whose first show was held in Obras), being part of the funk pop band Panorama -from which he still keeps some songs- and his mainly electronic works for prestigious record labels as International Dj Gigolo Records (Germany), Mogul Electro (USA), Thob Records (USA), Low Spirit (Germany), Sonic 360 (UK), Pacha Records (Ibiza, Spain) and Subterfuge (Spain) plus his acclaimed remixes for Gustavo Cerati, Babasonicos and the mexican band Kinky.Nowadays, he has released the best pop record edited in the last few years which includes in its 14 tracks important guests such as Gustavo Cerati, Adrián Dargelos, Lolo Fuentes & Juliana Gattas (Miranda!) and Lucas Martí from A Tirador Laser. Higlights year by year:1999: His band Panorama dazzles with funk house pop melodies and starts to get its first fans.2000: After the splitting of Panorama, Capri starts his solo career, giving birth to the computer electronic funk era: its the beginning of the vocoder kid legend. Argentina.2001: This is the year of his international projection. After playing in the Buenos Aires Hot Festival, he starts in March with performances in the Winter Music Conference (Miami, USA) with artists as The Scrumfrog and Andy Slate. The mini tour takes him to Puerto Rico, where hes the main show in the multitudinous Coors Light Dome, where also played the mexican band Titán. Due to the great acceptance, capri decides to stay in the caribbean island until July, while he remixes the local band Macroporno and keeps incessantly composing. Back in Buenos Aires, presents his program in FM Plur Radio as his popularity continues to grow in every show. In December, he creates Malevo Records, his own record label. In the meantime he composes Pantera, producing a radical twist in his sound. With the edition of Deformator Plus single by International DJ Gigolo Records and Pantera being heard in dance floors and radio charts of all Europe, Capri gets a high repercussion and moves to Paris for three months, where he meets Daft Punk. During his tour around Germany, Switzerland and Spain, he makes friends with David Carretta, Florian (Zombie Nation), Vitalic, Cosmo Vitelli and Vostok. After that he makes a remix for the newyorkers Katya Casio & Inform3r. Back in America, he visits for the first time Chile and Colombia, where he stays for a couple of months composing and performing live. At the same time are edited his romantic deep house remixes for Kinky -nominated for the Grammy Awards- based on their Sound Tha Primer Amor and his robotic version of Pendejo, included in Jessico Megamix, the last Babasonicos remixes cd. Argentina2003: He starts the year with a european tour visiting Spain, Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland, where his tunes are popular, but his aim is to finish recording his first album. Short trips to Chile, Colombia and some provinces in Argentina didnt stop his recording sessions and he even made remixes for the argentinian producers Microesfera, Gus Gus and Gustavo Ceratis Karaoke. He also played as musical guest with Cerati in Gran Rex Theatre and Quilmes Rock Festival. Capri starred the first Buenos Aires Electroclash Festival, with Larry Tee, a worldwide legend and started his DJ residence at Niceto Club Buenos Aires. Meanwhile, Romina Cohn and Capri remixed together L.A Williams Only a test for a single of future edition and hes also shooting the video of the song Otelo Paradise, first single of his album Mamma Killer Night, which was finished in March. By the end of May, Capri presents his purely electro funk sexy album for more than a thousand people in C. C San Martín. In that occasion, he had Gustavo Cerati and Miranda! as musical guests. In the last days of July, MTV airs the revolutionary video clip of Otelo Paradise (with exclusivity for one month). This video is developed in five days, which means five videos, instead of the usual ones. This miniseries called Paradise City (directed by Roy García and Emiliano Ferrando, written by Roy García, Sebastián DOvidio and the musician himself) is a story about Capri, a very peculiar friend, a red Corvette and all the adverntures that they live together, full of quotes from video clips, comics and tv commercials.
