About Me

Hi!! Thanx for dropping by Well I am a natural caring fella, pretty damn unconditional on that. I live near Brighton what a place! I enjoy music and going out socially which Brighton spoils me with. I have a keen interest in nature and walking, hmm that'll be the hippy in me. Whenever I can get the chance I like to make music (Dance and Rock) as I play guitar and keyboards and I Love to get out and have a good Dance. I'm also a total sucker for a good console or PC game. So glad Doom is back with us again hehe. I like most games but particulary online first person games. Who I am inside? I enjoy nothing but seeing people happy. I like to seek excitement, pleasure in life and always look to better myself and who I care about. Fancy a Chat? I wont Bite (well maybe the goth in me might)
A quick overview of a mad mental life?
Was born in Castleford and raised in Knottingly, moved to Houghton le spring then Tamworth and then moved to Ackworth where I lived the best part of my teens out. Was introduced to a music that made for the foundations of my life, Goth music. Initially introduced to Siouxie and the banshees, Bauhaus and Joy division; the first bands to knock me out were 'The Sisters of Mercy' coupled with 'The Cult' and 'The Cure', a 13yr olds fashion can change in the blink of an eye. I went straight to Leeds and if I remember the name of the shop, 'X' then that was where I found my new fashion, ouch winklepickers gotta hurt. I remember haunting the streets of Leeds, Wakefield with a good friend Johnny Greenslade who at the time resembled a teen Andy Warhol, Velvet Underground were big with the both of us. A desire to source my own taste in Goth and new musics led me to find 'Skeletal Family' which truely revolutionised my love for this music, other bands were 'Fields of the Nephilim' and without doubt 'The Damned'. In 1986 I moved from Yorkshire to staffordshire, a very hard move and into a community that had no concept of the Goth lifestyle, still prevailing with my desire I met many good friends there, Mark, Julian and Domonic to name but a few and an iconic pub in my life namely 'The Mutant Turtle' in Stafford, definately crazy times. Also I could not go without mentioning 'The Watering Trough' in Walsall. Moved to Slough in 1989, as a young adult, where things just went crazy!! Ya gotta love London.HAWKWIND appeared as music in my life and somehow (dont know how lol) they changed my perception towards reality (just a little heheheh). The crew I hung around with then were a bunch of 'ACID' Rockers!!, Space Cadets hehe you name it we were it, driving around the country listening to such classics as 'In search of Space', 'Levitation', 'Hawklords' and then tenting up in bridlepaths, fields, lol even cricket pitches and taking loads of acid and then waking up 2 days later to the Boot of the local farmer, pitchman etc.. heheh want more of those stories then click on Jon Rasta below hahaa I'm sure he'll fill you in with the rest. Myself and Jon took it in turns to drive peeps to total isolated places to play our music outside, loud, unnapproached and unrestrained. Hawkwind have a song, a fave of mine 'Hurry on Sundown', lets hope the sun never goes down on this band as they are the backbone to a huge chunk of modern music of today!!Well my music tastes have never changed, merely added to by the likes of 'Slayer' having huge impact on me. Not really sure what happened to Goth/Metal in the early nineties, radio kinda phased it all out so then I embarked on Goa Trance/Techno and later Drum n Bass. Met a very special bunch from the area I lived at the time 'Manor Park', Slough, they know who they are and we are still together today if sometimes only in spirit.

All Time Favourite Nightclubs

The Fridge, Brixton

Countless occasions have seen some of the best times I've ever spent here at the fridge. Through the nineties and early naughties I've been to so many different theme nights here. I recommend it to anyone fancying a mad and colourful night out. Pendragon and Escape to Samsara were two of my favourite nights.
