Wait! I never liked you.

About Me

If you don't know, you'd better ask.

My Interests

Anything of superior quality, including but not limited to: music, beverages, books, movies, learning, conversations, and people. Penetrating the endless depths of the Japanese language. Not video games. Saving children from burning buildings.

I'd like to meet:

Bono. Or Socrates. But probably not you.

Music:

A Perfect Circle, ...And You Will Know Them By the Trail Of Dead, Alexander Kowalski, Arctic Monkeys, At The Drive In, Audioslave, Beck, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Bloc Party, Bozzio Levin Stevens, Buddy Rich, Coldplay, Dave Seaman, Deep Dish, Dara, Deborah Henson-Conant, Doves, Elbow, Everything But The Girl, Engineers, The Flaming Lips, Feeder, Garbage, Global Communication, Hernan Cattaneo, James Holden, Jamiroquai, Interpol, Kaiser Chiefs, The Strokes, John Digweed, Sasha, Tain Watts, John Coltrane, Kasabian, Kent, Kruder and Dorfmeister, Leaves, Leftfield, m83, Manic Street Preachers, Mansun, Massive Attack, Miles Davis, Moloko, Mogwai, Mouse on Mars, My Vitriol, My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails, Oasis, Orbital, Outkast, PJ Harvey, Phil K, Placebo, Pole Folder, Primal Scream, Prodigy, Puressence, Quivver, Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, Razorlight, Red Hot Chili Peppers, REM, Richie Hawtin, Robert Miles, Rush, Ryan Farrant, Sander Kleinenberg, Secret Machines, Skalpel, Soundgarden, Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Spooky, Stan Ridgway, St. Germain, Sublime, The Arcade Fire, The Bad Plus, The Chemical Brothers, The Crystal Method, The Copperpot Journals, The Darkness, The Mars Volta, The New Pornographers, The Police, The Stone Roses, The Verve, The White Stripes, Thievery Corporation, Thirteen Senses, Timo Maas, Tosca, Tool, Travis, Trilok Gurtu, U2, Underworld.

Movies:

Memento, Last of the Mohicans, Dances With Wolves, Blade Runner, The Big Lebowski, and Apocalypse Now. Anything creative and original.

Television:

It's a sad state of affairs when Comedy Central is the smartest channel on television. And HBO. It's easier to watch only two channels anyway.

Books:

Mostly non-fiction. I like biographies of physicists and histories of the downfall of western thought to religion. For fiction, you can't go wrong with Tom Robbins.

Heroes:

Richard Feynman, Albert Einstein, and other folks.
