It is God who created me and God who saved me---and so it is for God that I live. And I do so love Him! Jesus is everything to me. I can't imagine going through life not knowing Him

"You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church. And the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

I believe in one God,the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth,of all that is seen and unseen. I believe in one Lord,Jesus Christ, the only Son of the God, eternally begotten of the Father.God from God,Light from Light,True God from True God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father, through whom all things were made. For us men and for our salvation, He came down from heaven.By the power of the Holy Spirit,He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. He was crucified under Ponitius Pilate, suffered, died and was buried. On the third day,He rose again in fulfillment with the scriptures. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the father. He shall come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life, who procedes from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets.I believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church,I acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come Amen.

The best way to truly know yourself and who you are is to know God, and the best way to find God is to find Him dwelling in the hearts of others.
Realizing that humanity is created in His image and likeness has caused me to have greater respect and compassion--especially to those in whom God is a little harder to find-- Seeing Christ in someone changes your perspective entirely.
"There are not one hundred people in this world who dislike Catholicism, but there are millions who dislike what they mistakenly believe Catholicism to be." -Archbishop Fulton Sheen

The Rosary is a WONDERFUL prayer that brings you to a deep contemplation on the life and mysteries of Christ. In each mystery of the rosary, you pray with Mary and experience Christ through her eyes. It's a beautiful meditation prayer.
What are the Mysteries of the Rosary ?

She had such a wonderful, simple spirituality. I definitely recommend her autobiography, "Story of a Soul", to anyone and everyone. Her life was truly inspiring.

[Pope Benedict XVI]

..."As Catholics, we don’t place our trust in the moral character of individual Popes; we place our trust in Jesus. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, therefore, what Jesus said can be fully trusted. One thing that he said very clearly was that HIS Church (not Peter’s Church, or any of the other Popes, Bishops, or Priests) would be built upon Peter (our first Pope)"...
