I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm 27, I love my life and it just keeps getting better. There's not really a lot to say about me on here, because I would much rather just answer questions... It's easier, you know? I work, play and love to read and write. I'm normal, for the most part. I like to smile, love to laugh and live to love. I'm smart and pretty witty, when I want to be. I like movies and books, but only if the characters are great and the story is excellent. I'm easy to please and savor the little things in life; full moons, shooting stars and the smell of rain, to name a few. Life is magical for me, I love it. Oh, and I never, ever judge a book by its cover.

My Interests

I enjoy reading and writing, very much. I also like to laugh and have fun everywhere that I go. Music is also another of my passions, and I fully and completely support the local music scene. Keep an eye on my page for bulletins for local shows and come out to support the local rock scene. These guys are going to be famous someday... but they need our help. Basically, I am interested in living life to its fullest and enjoying all that it has to offer.

I'd like to meet:

Lots and lots of people.

Music:

I love rock, but I don't understand the category system. A few favorites include Jane's Addiction, Tool, Avengenged Sevenfold, A Perfect Circle, The Libertines, Sonic Youth, Slipknot, Stone Sour, tenacious d, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Alice In Chains, Nine Inch Nails, Mudvayne.... I could go on, but I think you get the picture.

Movies:

The single most outstanding movie I have ever seen is Closer, with Jude Law and Natalie Portman. The writers of that movie wrote the most realistic characters I have ever seen portrayed in film, or text for that matter. However, it is not my favorite. The owner of the favorite movie title will always be Old School, because I adore Will Ferrell and all of his silliness. And lately, I have been exploring (although with caution and much timidness and never alone) the horror genre. I'm working slowly into that one... but I think I can handle it.
..

Television:

I don't really watch television, but when I do it's either Comedy Central or the History Channel. Oh, and YAY for [adult swim]

Books:

I love classic literature, the more obscure the better. My very favorite book of all time is actually tied between The Count of Monte Cristo and Great Expectations. I suppose you could say I have a thing for tragic heroes. I also love Tom Robbins and Kurt Vonnegut. My collections is varied and extensive and I love all of them... like children. I'm proud of my bookworminess and like to meet people who feel the same way about them.

Heroes:

My heroes include Hunter S. Thompson, C.S. Lewis, John Stewart and Will Ferrell and what kind of Momma's girl would I be if I didn't include my mom as my hero because she is, above all others. And, as a good old fashion American Girl, I totally support the brave soldiers who have and are serving this great country.... I know a couple personally and they are my heroes...
