Good communication, proper spellings, kissing, shiny/fuzzy/glittery things, animals, art, photography, world travel, friendships, love, nookie, laughing until I have to pee. Taking salsa, tango, and the occasional hip-hop classes. Excited about my second season snowboarding. I took kickboxing for two years. Don't mess with me. *flexes muscles* ;) Activities: The ususal... movie nights, hanging out with friends, DANCING, bars, random arty classes, etc. Love red wine and conversation be it with friends or dates, laughing out loud, hiking in the woods, camping, reading, sipping sweet tea in a sunbeam, throwing dinner parties for 2 to 20, watching the ocean come and go, making bad puns, and trying new things.
Really mean, stupid, ignorant liars. :) Or... cool people, who are down to earth, open, honest communicators, like spazzing out, dancing in the rain, stop dead in their tracks mid-sentence to look up at the moon, have a daily chocolate regimen, can appreciate good food, art, dance, wine, and people. Those who love road trips, travel to exotic destinations, seek peace in their lives, hate drama, can find the funny story in even the most difficult of events, like snuggling until noon, cry when they are sad, laugh at themselves when they are stupidly human, act goofy in grocery stores, and who call me when they are thinking about me. Friends who like to eat, watch movies, play boardgames, lounge around doing nothing and or can create exciting fort adventures in the living room with a few couch pillows, blankets, and a bowl of popcorn. Boys who like to kiss. People who like to talk, people who make me laugh, people I make laugh, people who can help me find the job of my dreams, people who will be nice to my cats, people who make me want to say "this is my friend so-n-so, he/she is sooo RAD!", people who say "rad", people who want to practice salsa or swing dancing with me. And stuff. PS- If you message me and you are someone with over 300 "friends" (see: "cleavage popping hoochies") I will not respond. I can guarantee you I will not add you nor will we have much in common. Kthanks.
Almost anything and everything. Music makes me dance and dancing is what makes me happiest. Some favorites: Ghostland Observatory, Elexi Murdoch, Flunk, Bloc Party, The Bravery, Conjure One, Apoptygma Berserk, Massive Attack, Bjork, The Smiths/Morrissey, Fat Boy Slim, Eminem, The Cure, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, Dandy Warhols, Fountains of Wayne, Lily Allen, Peter Murphy, Siouxie, The Killers, Flaming Lips, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Cat Stevens, White Stripes, Postal Service, Death Cab For Cutie, Interpol, The Shins, Supergrass, Morningwood, Elvis, Brian Setzer, Rancid, The Clash, The Cars, The Soupdragons, Gus Gus, New Order, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Sinatra, Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, The Donnas, Violent Femmes, Dean Martin, The Pixies, REM, Cocteau Twins.... blues/jazz, swing, salsa, classical, old school, new school, doesn't matter much... like it all... etc etc.
I am generally entertained by most movies. Except gore/Horror stuff. I don't like scary. Suspense is ok, wierd is ok, but Freddie, Jason, the Exorcist, the Ring, etc... nope. Not ok. They make me invision my under-the-bed dust bunnies having glowing red eyes and plotting my demise. Some favorites: Amelie, Donnie Darko, Wizard of Oz, KIDS, anything John Hughes (yes I am an 80's geek...) Edward Scissorhands, Before Sunrise/Sunset, Eternal Sunshine, The Secretary, Garden State, Happiness, The Pillowbook, Monty Python, Antonia's Line, May, Lord of the Rings, The Corporation, most documentaries and- if I may generalize- many many independant and foreign films, etc etc...
Mine is solely used for watching movies.
Love to read. While I have a few authors that I like to come back to, choosing a novel is all about the experience. I can spend an entire afternoon and an entire paycheck oogling and drooling over every section of the bookstore. When we were in college, my best friend was a Lit major and would *research* the good books. Me? I would wander the aisles until it called to me and I liked the cover and the first page. And they were always good. She hated that about me. :) I read mostly fiction, but sometimes biographical or nature/science/animal related non-fiction. Ooh and I LOVE Discover magazine. I finally subscribed. :) *cough* nerd *cough*
Your mom.
