RisingRiotRecords is an independent punk- and hardcorelabel. At the beginning we just wanted to release some tape-compilations with bands we personally knew and liked. We planned a whole tape-serial called 'TrashTillDeath', but with time we released our first 7" of 'Sidetracked' and 'SomeCameRunning' and some further releases of several bands followed. Well, the usual development, I think.
Now, what about our labelpolicy?? We are youngsters (well, at least in spirit) and we live up to several nonmonetary values and beliefs. So everything here is based on diy, we support bands who have their hearts at the right place and not the ones who solely seem to be highly profitable.
One important fact: diy-ethics are no synonym for bad work or poor quality. The whole lame mainstream-crap is in need of a serious alternative, so keep it underground and give your full heart, that's what we do.
