L.V. was raised on the East Side of Chicago. Born Josh La Vell Thomas, the name L.V. was originated from his middle name. La Vell was also the name carried by both his father(square) and his older brother(R.I.P.) People began to call him La Vell or just L. Once L.V. lost his brother he decided to take the Thomas family's middle name and do something with it! And there u have it, L.V. was born! L.V. uses the street's 2 his advantage, knowing that he has actually done, seen, and experienced the things that he spits over tracks. Many artists don't have that benefit! When u add that up with his raw talent, masterful hooks, versatile lyricism, unbelievable stage presence, limitless potential, and a dream team, u know it's just a matter of time before he signs on dat dotted line!
