Empress Life first known as ASHA NAILAH AFUA born in and proud to be from the twin I-lands --- Trinidad and Tobago. Empress Life has been performing on a stage since the age 9 as a dancer. At the age of 10 Life made a move to the Sunny So. Florida along with family. She continued her academic studies in school in the year to follow but always had the desire to be a performing artist. She was blessed with the opportunity to attend 2 of the best Performing Arts schools in Miami. Dance all the day long then there was The Calling -In 1998 Life started her trod in Rastafari, and now in 2006 a Mother on a mission for change. During the previous years full of spiritual awakenings and cultural awareness, She has gone to Jamiaca, back to Miami, to Trinidad and Tobago, Miami, step foot in New York, and back to Miami to plant more seeds and grow. Music being a vital part of dance was always of interest to LIFE, and while being a mother she began to take it seriously, doing backup for a small local band and eventually some solo tunes. Empress Life has stepped onto a few stages to share her journey with the masses to enlighten those who don't know, THE POWER OF JAH AND HIS WORKS, and to strengthen Women and make them know that the father give us the job to be teachers and leaders to our people no matter what. Selah. NOW-Life has chosen to incorporate both talents and take it to the next level.
