I'd love to meet some of the big science greats as they are the people who have given me the drive and passion to become what I am now. But anyone really as I can talk bollocks to a bull :D

Music:
Anything and everything. Have such a diverse collection its crazy but particularly like the Killers at the minute and The Turin Brakes. Elliot Smith is such a miss. Oh and Mason Williams - a great arrangement. Will just say what I have in my car at the minute and that will give you an idea. Elliot Smith, Paulo Nutini, Corrine Bailey Rae (a copy for Emma), Pink Floyd (Dark Side), Radiohead (OK Computer), Turin Brakes, Nouvelle Vague, Snow Patrol, a compilation CD I made and a few others I can't think of. But you have to love Hayseed Dixie for their great arrangements of classic songs. Now going back to 1985 this is Kimera (a Korean opera singer) who did a great arrangement of some already fantastic pieces of music with the London Synphony Orchestra. It did really well but not to everyones taste. This is just a short mix but the whole album is great. Sadly very hard to find now and I only have it oin cassette. See what you think
Movies:
Sci-fi, action, horror and good old 80's cheese. you can't knock Back to the Future, Indianna Jones, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, etc. But then I must say I do like some of the old classics from Hitchcock and Breakfast at Tiffany's (great film and I saw the old reel at the Tyneside a while ago - crackles and everything)
Television:
Black Books and all other Bill Bailey shows. Saw him in Newcastle and he was just the best! Early Doors is a great series, the comedy is fantastic.BBC News aka Rave
Books:
Since I'm writing up my PhD I'm reading through so many books and papers at the minute, don't really have much time for any normal ones. But do enjoy the Dan Brown, Kate Mosse (Labyrinth), Philip Pullman, bit of Harry Potter every now and then. And of course my subscription to The Viz. There really is more to it then just arse jokes you know.
Heroes:
Could be really sad here and say the great scientists such as Lister, Pasteur, Einstein, etc or we could go down the route of Peter Lynn who designed my kite and will no doubt kill me in the end :D
