About Me

Have a degree in art and am still trying to figure out how to make a living at it. I love learning about the world,the people in it and am still trying to figure out my place in it. I have family and friends whom I feel lucky to have. They are my solace when New York feels like its kicking my ass. I am independant, loyal, inquisitive, serious, but know not to take myself too seriously.I am hopless romantic, i want to believe true love exists. I am trying not to become a cynical, jaded New Yorker. I try to be thankful for all the blessings that I have been given. I enjoy everything from sunday brunch to a sunday night soiree. I will try anything once..and if I like it twice.

I'd like to meet:

Fun, smart, sexy people. People I can exchange ideas and have an intelligent conversation with. Well rounded ,cultured, enjoys fashion, trends, New York restaurants and hot spots. Apathetic ,narrow minded, superficial people need not aply.

Music:

I like just about everything. Classical, jazz, blues, rock, hip hop, r&b, and house. Love coldplay, jack johnson, nora jones, led zepplin, mary j, sade, sublime, jay z, and erika badu to give a few examples.

Movies:

I am a movie buff! I have eclectic taste in movies, but, generally I like sci fi and dramas. Love, star wars, seven, zoolander, lord of the rings, closer ,legends of the fall, and finding nemo to name a few.

Television:

Law and order, forensic science shows, sex in the city, sopranos, csi, news, south park, ali g show ,and cheesy mtv and vh1 shows. Watch the learing and discovery channels alot too.

Books:

Just read a million little pieces. Favorites are wuthering heights, lolita, anna karenenna, the little prince and the velveteen rabbit.

Heroes:

every day people who help to change the world for the better. People who inspire me to be a better person. I meet and read about people like these everyday....not one particular person.
