It was all a dream were the words of The
Notorious B. I. G. but for Ken Morris and Jon
Jones making music was way more than just a
dream. In 1997 the two owners of 305
Independent Records set out on there first
business venture to make Jon Jones A.K.A.
Jon Gotti a demo cd, since then they set out
on many business ventures but the biggest
one was the formulation of 305 Independent
Records itself. Between 2002 and 2004 the
company had released many albums and mix
cds but none of them were as successful as
the 2005 underground release of Off Tha
Block featuring Tha Flatlinahz. Now the
company is heavily involved in music
publishing, song writing, production,
recording, artist management, manufacturing,
and independent distribution.
