Well, I guess I'm getting back to being an artist, which is the path I was on as a kid.
I'm having fun with it, getting to contribute something here and there within snowboarding, which is both humbling and exciting. I have been showing paintings publicly lately, and it's pretty fun. I'm trying to figure out how to make time for this side of my life, being as it feeds my heart but not my belly.

I have a project called FutureScape LLC. I do terrain park design and construction. This year, I worked primarily at Sugarbowl Resort at the summit of the storied Donner Pass Road in North Lake Tahoe. As the season progressed, I fell into a really rad role of building for and hosting film and photo shoots for all my friends and a lot of snowboarding's best crews. Also, my trip to Alyeska Alaska to build a summer camp again was awesome...such a cool group of riders up there.
Had a great time this season, made great friends here in Tahoe filming for our new snowboard film "Lake Effect", and had a great time getting to experience the legendary Tahoe backcountry.
