at the end of the year 2003 we worked with producer Dejan Radièeviè in the studio Tivoli productions in Ljubljana. Our aim was to project into a digital framework what we offer at our live acts – vigorous, exceptional and energetic performance...
our first album, titled numedia, was released on 13. April, 2004 by CPZ publishing house. band management was entrusted to KURZ institute with its director Andrej Težak.
at the same time of the outcome of numedia, video for the song n.ss, which had been made in our own production, reached slovenian tv stations. n.ss also found its place on the scale of most frequently played songs in Slovenia and stayed at the top for four weeks.
in spring, naio ssaion participated in the international music competition Newcomer 04 in club Orpheum in Graz, Austria, and from among 92 bands won the first place. AlpeAdria 2004, an international band contest which was organized in September in Monfalcone, Italy, resulted in naio ssaion’s victory as well. numedia promotion tour has already reckoned a fair number of concerts. one which particularly draws attention is a concert with the superstar P!nk in Austria. beside the sensational atmosphere and the spectacle itself, 17. July will be remembered as a turning point for the band as it started to go abroad. soon after the end of the summer promotion of numedia, naio ssaion signed a record deal with Napalm Records and agreed upon recording and publishing an English version of numedia, and the production and distribution of the band’s future videos.
