Naja Matthews is currently an artist residing in New York City. She was born in Memphis, TN. Naja earned an undergraduate degree from The University of Tennessee in Martin,TN in Business with a concentration in Fine Arts. She attended Texas Woman's University where she worked on her MBA in International Business. While in Dallas, TX she began her career as a corporate Buyer for Fortune 500 companies. These experiences taught Naja the importance of hard work, organization and self-determination. They also afforded her the opportunity to pursue an acting career on a full time basis and learn to support herself through her own talent.During her 4 year stay in Dallas, Naja rediscovered her roots in entertainment and has gone on to pursue her dreams of becoming a major entity in the entertainment industry. She has just completed a feature length production with Pan- African Film Festival standout, Pascal Atumah. She is also presently honing her comedic talents by co-starring in a series of shorts with noted actor/comedian Doug E. Doug.
