Taking their name from the view of the hill outside where Phil (guitar/vox) and Danny (bass/keys) first began writing music together at the age of 16, Liddington was formed out of an ambition to write striking, timeless songs. Parting ways only to go to university, they spent every available hour writing and rehearsing, developing their sound and refining their collection of songs. With the full line-up completed by the addition of Paul (guitar) and Andy (drums), the band’s live sound began to fully take shape. Numerous shows across Oxford, London, Cardiff and the South-West have seen the band notch up support slots with the likes of Switches, Kubichek! and Scouting For Girls. Determined to build on their growing momentum, 2008 looks set to be an important year for this promising new band.
'...a band who sound ready made for the big stages, with truly anthemic sounding songs that burn with longing and emotion."
