UPDATE 14.01.08
********************************************************
I went to the Old Bailey court on Friday 11th January with my family for the hearing which was previously postponed. All 7 men pleaded 'NOT GUILTY'...... yeh I know....
I can already feel the lies that are about to come out of these 'animals' mouths.
The trial date has been set to the 14th July. It will probably go on forever but that's fine by me. As long as justice is served and they get what they deserve. "Dad we WILL get justice for you...I miss you."
BUT THE LORD ALMIGHTY WILL BE EXHALTED BY HIS JUSTICE, AND THE HOLY GOD WILL SHOW HIMSELF HOLY BY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS (ISIAH 5:16)
*********************************************************
My Dad, Julian Warrington, was stabbed to death in his home Monday 3rd September 2007 about 2:20pm. He was living on Paulet Road in Camberwell, London with my aunt Christine at the time. My Dad was on his day off from work in the lounge on his computer. 5 white men and 1 black man kicked thier way through two doors to get into his house after trying a few other houses. They attacked him, stabbed him many times and left him to die.
Neighbours discovered him almost immediately and emergency services were called. Despite the efforts of the Ambulance Service conducting open-heart surgery they were unable to save my Dads life.
Three brothers, Steven Fitzgerald, 25, of Mapleton Close in Bromley, Declan Fitzgerald, 22, and John Fitzgerald, 27, from Dora Way, Brixton, have since been charged with murder. Alan Ellis, 18, from Paulet Road, Camberwell, south London; Paul Hudson, 22, of Gibson Road, Lambeth, south London and Jermaine Morris, 25, from Gypsy Road, West Norwood, are also charged with my Dads murder. They are all remanded in custody until the trail date 14th Dec 2007.
A 7th suspect was arrested and had been released on bail until the trial.
**********************************************************My
Dad was only 43 and a great man, he was a 9-5er who worked so much overtime to make me and my 3 little sisters (13yrs, 11yrs & 7months) happy. He was so lively always telling jokes and always tried to be the young 'cool' Dad. If you knew him, you could only have something nice to say about him. Some of the media have made it sound like he could be involved in something. I promise you he wasn't...he was a family man. He wouldnt be involved in any type of gang, or crime related activity to have any enemies. He wasnt ready to die.
If you have ANY information you can call CRIMESTOPPERS anonymously. You dont have to give your name or anything and they wont trace your call. Anything will help...I beg you...

Love from your Big sister Charlene xxxx
Here are some quotes I collected from some family and friends...
Charlene Grant, 27yrs (his eldest daughter): "My Dad was always full of life and always telling jokes. He was devoted to the little ones Shannice (13yrs), Channelle (11yrs) and Daniella (6months). I know he put up a good fight after seeing him today. He would have never left us; they stole him. Since the day I was born I know him to be very musical...I know music as my first love. His memory will continue live through me and the candle shall never die down. God touched him before he left so I know now he is in a better place."
Patsy Grant (Charlene's Mum):"Julian was my first love and I his. We were childhood sweethearts. This was a man who loved and lived for music. Back in the day he was a choreographer and WOW, what a dancer he was! He used to make me feel so proud to watch him. Julian was a very humble man and was well liked by many. He put smiles on the saddest of faces. Because of my musical background and his, we produced a child (CharChar) who first love is music. I thank Julian for her. I know you were so proud of her. He devoted his life to his children and I know his legacy lives on through them. The week before he died I saw the Lord touch him through music and that memory will always reign in my heart forever.
"JULIAN SEE YOU IN THE KINGDOM. I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH...PATSY"Stacy Beckles, 22yrs (his niece): "Uncle Julian was the music maker of our family. If we need music we would all go to him. He made us laugh with his (not so funny) jokes. Uncle Ju' we're all going to miss you so much."
Ashley Beckles, 20yrs (his nephew): "He was a brave soldier; he saved my cousins, sister and nephews life by fighting impossible odds on his own. He is my hero and we will never forget him. R.I.P Uncle Julian"
Nathaniel Braithwaite, 25yrs (his son): "He loved music. I found an award that Dad was given when I was very young. His love for music is in his children."
Robert Welch, 37yrs (his brother): "Someone who would help anyone. Cheerful, youthful and a dedicated father. He is always in our hearts."
Christine Wilson (his sister): "Julian embodied goodness. If you want to know what a brother is, look at him. He was there for everyone, especially his 6 children and his nieces and nephews. He loved life and was happiest doing things with his family. I can't imagine life without him. He's in a better place, free of pain. I wish I was with him; my brother."
Daniel Wilson, 21 (nephew): "Uncle Julian was a loving and caring person who lived for his kids. He loved music; he had a great sense of humor and always had a smile on his face."
Paul Warrington (Julian's younger brother):
The World will be a lesser place without you Bro! I'm gonna miss ya so much, jokes an all! I know what your children mean to you & I promise to watch over them Jubz! Words will never truly show the loss of such a loved, kind, funny, respected & dedicated family man, who lived for his family especially his children; my niece's Charlene (Charchar), Shannice, Chanelle, Dan Dan (7 months old) & my nephews Nathaniel & Aaron. The times we shared will never be forgotten, the laughs, the tears, the talks we had man! x One Blood - One Love x 'Nuff Respect Jubz Your li'l baby bro Always! ps You're in my heart & my thoughts Always! Til nx time bruv x
Colleague, Mourad: "Julian we miss your sarcasm in the kitchen, the place is very different without you...and very quiet. "
Colleagues at Scott Harris: "We all worked with Julien and we still can't believe this terrible thing has happened, your dad was a real hard working loyal man who always found time in his busy day to make us all laugh and the radio was always busting his favourite tunes! Scott Harris won't be the same without him. Much love to you and all the family"
Family friend: "...we know that your daddy was a good hard working man that lived for his family. R I P Julian until we meet on the other side... love and best wishes from Dee and family.(Marsha and Bonnetta)"
An old friend: "...Mango (Julian) was the first person to teach me to drive. We used to ride around like mad people on the site where those apartments are in Liverpool on Grove Street. He taught me how to catalogue my music. He always had his tapes (before cd time love) all in order, colour coded and all rewinded back to the begining. I was always impressed with his meticulousness. We did music together, as at the time he was on the sound...Mango was the dj, the tech, the organizer, the rock....My bredren for life. seen...Stay strong. Marcia Davis. "
An old friend; "He was generous and most helpful; when I got my first palace and did not have help to decorate he helped me and would not take any money. ...We meet your dad nearly 20yrs ago and he does not even look a day older he was full of life..Your dad will rest when those mindless thugs are brought to justice...Keep shinning. Pam x"
An old school/teenage friend: "Your Dad was a very special person and I understand, all too well, the extent to which he is a considerable loss to you.... I still remember when Julian started at my primary school...We used to visit eachother after school and during the weekends almost every day, we were that inseparable back then...Everything about Julian was fun and, I am very proud to say, he became one of my best friends for most of the time he lived in Liverpool. Your Dad had developed close, loving relationships with friends far too many for me to name or number...As teenagers, dreaming of the days when we would become successful sound system operators. Although I hadn't seen Julian for at least 15 years I, and all your Dad's other friends who have missed him so much, always knew him to be exactly that person you described. We all change so much as people as we get older, but I am so happy to know that he had remained that way until the very end. That was the biggest of your Dad's many special gifts. That's why everyone he knew loved him. Jimmy, Liverpool"
Valentino (old friend) :" Just a few words of support 4 you at this sad time, I knew your father well he inspired me an nuff of my friends 2 MC back in da day here in Liverpool, he will be missed but never forgotten .R I P MANGO DAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

"We are old friends of Julian from Toxteth, Liverpool, his nickname then was Mango Dan, we raved with him, he gave us so much joke back then, he was always really nice and a cool guy to know. No one ever had a bad word to say about him.
Where answers fail seek prayer and find peace.
With sympathy from our family to yours.
