I'm a pretty diverse type of person. I don't limit myself to one type of anything. You know, like music, friends, personality types, etc, etc. I like variety, and there's so much of it. I find that if you try different things, even unexpected things, you learn a lot more and become more rounded. I like the color purple, I shop too much and I guess I somewhat like the finer things in life. I'm very independent, sometimes I like things MY way or no way, which can sometimes be a hassle when trying to compromise. Sometimes I have a tendency to run my big mouth. I'm opinionated, but willing to listen. I don't hesitate to tell people what I think about something. I like autumn, pumpkin pie and mexican food. Lately I've been trying out my green thumb, and must say I'm impressed with the results! I'm not afraid to meet new people. I'm not overly shy cuz I moved so much as a kid, so I always had to meet new people and make different places home. I detest overly negative people. It bores me to hear people focusing on everything that's bad. Put that energy into better things. I like to talk, probably too much sometimes. =) I like to travel, and I would love to live somewhere close to a beach. Dirty martinis, chocolate, and getting dressed up are some of my other likes. I have a special place in my heart for old stuff. I like old houses, old people (can what I know right now compare to their wisdom of life???), old movies, old books, and antiques. I think it's because they've seen so much more than I have and all have their own story. I love my family, my friends, and everything else that ends up being the only things that really matter.I got married in October to my best friend Zach. He's wonderful and great, and he makes me feel like a princess. We've been friends since I moved to College Station almost 5 years ago and I guess all those years were just building into this crazy thing that we call love. He makes me feel like I don't ever have to worry about anything, because I know he'll always be right next to me if life ever deals me a bad hand. Life is so much less discouraging at times when you know you got someone by your side. They say you always shine when you're in love, and with him, I feel like the brightest star in the sky.My family is so important to me. If it wasn't for my family, I wouldn't be where I am, or who I am, and I love them SO much. I admire and look up to my mom and dad more than anyone in the world. If I am anything as great and spectacular as them, then I've already accomplished more than I could ever think of. And my sisters? Where would I be without them always there to lend me a hand and help me out? I have a lot of great, wonderful people to look up to, and thank God for giving me such a great family.
