About Me

I'm a native to Southern California and love to live here. I have lived in 8 states across the US in all manners of houses, apartments and neighborhoods. I'm 6'3" and somewhat athletic. I like to go out and have fun, but kickin' back is good too.
I am a very spiritual person, though I am not religious at all. I have been Catholic, Baptist, generic Christian, and now mostly resemble Buddhist, but I have found my own path. My experiences in religious areas showed me that my faith is my own, whether I believe in a god or not, and as long as I am true to my faith and convictions, I will be ok.
I am kind of a brain, as anyone who really knows me will say. I learn really quickly and fairly easily. I try to be open as possible, to be objective about most things, and to ask a lot of questions to better understand. I feel it's a good thing to be as well equiped as possible for any situation, and the best way to do that is to know as much as you can about the situation. During those moments when there isn't enough time to ask questions, I trust my instincts and convictions to guide my path.
I have been through the ringer time and again. I have walked many a broken roads and found my way back. I have been scarred, as most of us have, and learned how to put myself back together. I have found within all the pain and anguish, a light that answers it all for me:
To go beyond all of that and still be free, happy, courageous, alive. To still love oneself so that you can love others. To give trust even when others can't or won't. To have hope when all else is dark. To stick to your beliefs under all costs, but be willing to review those beliefs in contemplation to make sure they are right for you.
Each of us must walk our own way, but we can and should learn from each other. I have found it my life to be willing and able to share any and all of my experiences in hopes to help any others succeed in their walk in this life.

I'd like to meet:

I am looking to meet some new people, hang out, and have some fun. I am really laid back and easy to get along with.

Inspirational people are also of great interest to me. We would all do well to have the chance to sit and talk with or ask questions of someone like that.

Music:

Country can stay away. Hip Hop, House and Trance has brought me through my early 20s. Being born before the 80s, all of the 80s and 90s music have had at least some influence. Now being more attune to my tastes, Linkin Park has become my favorite group.

Television:

Heroes and Smallville are my main shows, Law & Order ( Original , SVU and CI ), Stargate SG-1 , Monk , Whose Line is it Anyway? . I usually don't watch too much TV as I will probably be spending my time with my friends.
