The origins of Candy date from Channel 4’s celebrity Big Brother where posing as a pop star Chantelle was in a band known as Candy Floss. The idea was to fool the other celebrities into thinking she was a celebrity, by the end she ends up with a husband and winning the whole thing! Well with the original idea to create publicity to launch their pop careers things rapidly changed for Chantelle leaving the remaining girls up the creak without a paddle. Determined to still give it a go they renamed as Candy however after months of hard work going alone obviously put it’s pressures on the girls with the master plan in tatters. 3 became 2 became 1.
Throughout 2007 talks have progressed and now Candy are under Management with Future Music and the first task is to reform Candy to be sweeter than ever!
Future Music are a well respected Management Company who also run the Live and Unsigned music competition which is the largest National music competition outside that certain ITV show. In conjunction with the Live and Unsigned competition Future music are going to be scouting for Female artists during the competition to be in Candy.
