A Mind In Love With God

About Me

Welcome to my world...You have entered into the cerebral zone of my embedded sentiments. Enjoy seeing life through my worldview...
The goal of my life is to glorify God BY enjoying Him forever. Due to His supreme value, God values Himself supremely, and the most gracious work He has done in my heart, and continues to do, is enthrall me with the Person and work of Christ by revealing His glory to me through the pages of Holy Scripture. The desire to know the Lord more has become for me unquenching and insatiable. God has completely rearranged my thoughts and affections. Realizing that we as humans value what we cherish most, and enjoy the things that give us the greatest delight, since the Triune God is the sum total of exquisite characteristics He deserves our highest praise. This for me has become the foundation of my life and existence. I feel loved by God, not because He makes much of me, but rather because He has freed me from my sin, and now allows me to make much of Him forever. Indeed, with all that is in my heart, I am looking forward to the day when I will be able to love God, with the very power of God. My life has been rocked by the fact that God's passion for His glory and His desire for my joy are one and the same goal.
Interests: Systematic theology, historical theology, Christian thought, Philosophy (primarily logic, metaphysics, and epistemology), Apologetics (primarily presuppositional), Ethics, politics, Constitutional law and first amendment rights, Cultural studies, and Bible Exposition-I am a strong advocate for the church to make a robust return to expository preaching.
I believe in God the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth: and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Books I am currently reading:
The Scandal of The Evangelical Mind- Mark Noll
The Iliad- Homer
Books that have changed my life:
The Attributes of God- A.W. Pink
The Holiness of God- R.C. Sproul
God is The Gospel- John Piper
“While it is denied that additions are being made to the canon of Scripture when people give extra-biblical ‘words from God,’ it is nevertheless implied that an actual addition is being made to the ‘canon of living,’ otherwise, the illumination of Scripture and the wisdom to apply it would be sufficient.”- Sinclair Ferguson
I arise today Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity, Through belief in the threeness, Through confession of the oneness, Of the Creator of Creation. Salvation is of the Lord, Salvation is of the Lord, Salvation is of Christ, May thy Salvation, O Lord, be ever with us
The love of my life.
