About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorI guess the best way to describe myself is I'm that tech guy everyone seems to know. If it's electronic, makes a few beeping noises and generally confuses people, I want to know more about it - the more complicated it is, the better. I'm definitely one of those people that needs to know how something works as opposed to just knowing that it does work. Intellectually, I'm a jack of all trades. Something will catch my attention, and I'll learn all I can about it for awhile before the next interesting topic comes along and steals my time.

While you're here, why not check out some video footage of Epic's Gears of War?

While we're on the subject of videos, these two videos are the funniest things I've seen in ages!

My Interests

Arcade cabinet design, Video games, web design, mmog's, movies, books, sports, shooting pool, life in general, I think you can see where I'm going with this :p Check out my website at www.nylatenite.com for more details on the gaming aspect I mentioned.

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people - It doesn't matter what you have in this world, all that matters is who you are and what you choose to stand for.

Music:

I cover a pretty broad range of music, if the lyrics are good and it sounds right, I'm down with that.

Movies:

For some strange reason even though I own all the DVD's, any time there's a Clint Eastwood spaghetti western marathon on, I'm there. ESB is probably my favorite film of all time, love the LoTR trilogy (and hated the books) and to quote Calvin, "Idiots, Anvils and Explosives, that's what entertainment is all about!"

Television:

I'm probably the only person in the world who doesn't watch American Idol, which my co-workers can probably attest to. Give me some good movies, some cartoons and a few good Discovery Channel specials and I'm set for an evening.

Books:

Feist, Hickman & Weiss, Clancy, Crighton, Ambrose - again, a pretty good mix. Best book I've read recently was James Bradley's "Flags of Our Fathers"
