My journey began in Indiana where I was born and raised. I moved to Washington, DC to play Division I college basketball at GWU where we went to the NCAA Tournament 2x and played in the Sweet 16 against the Fab Five at Michigan. After DC, I moved to Atlanta and began my odyssey in the music business. I worked at LaFace Records for a couple years; ran Noontime Music's production company (Bryan-Michael Cox, Jazze Pha, and Teddy Bishop) for a few years; did a brief stint running Family Tree South Management (Outkast, Donell Jones, YoungBloodz, etc.) and then worked at Hitco Music Publishing where I discovered and signed some of the hottest songwriters in the music game (Sean Garrett, j.Que, Carl Mo and Jason "Koko" Bridges). In 2005, I moved to Los Angeles to run the Urban Music Department at Famous Music Publishing (a Viacom/Paramount Pictures Company) where I have recently left to start my own business. It's about time..don't you think? I have made other companies millions of dollars with the producers and writers that I have found and believed in, early. Overall, I have experienced a lot of good times and bad bumps along the road. Along my journey, I have met a lot of good people that have become great friends and even more evil snakes disguised as better people that were horrible friends. If I can give some valuable advice...Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail! Trust your gut instincts and put your Faith in God! Who you want to become tomorrow depends on the choices you make today! Good luck & God Bless.
