He is the son of Black/Filipino parents with a deep passion and connections to his ethnic background. Since the early age of fifteen Andru Wallace had an eye-for-spotting the changes in Fashion and current trends, and quickly began to map-out a plan to make his own mark on the innovative world of creation. He started by transforming friends, family and foe from ordinary to Glam-Divas with every opportunity and immediately after High School enrolled in BROOKS COLLEGE-Sunnyvale. In June 2005 he successfully completed his degree in ..On September 18, 2005 Andru featured a sneak preview of his Provocative, Sexy and Sleek cutting-edge Fall Collection: Hot but Cold, inspired by the Art Deco era at The Imagine Fashion Show (an annual benefit show for the Ronald McDonald House of Palo Alto sponsored by Brooks College) and was awarded Best Emerging Designer of the Year from a select panel of industry professional. Andru’s collection ignited the stage of the Convention Center with expressive energy that could very well mark him as a Key-Trend-Setter of this millennium.
