About Me

*MY LITTLE "TOP FRIENDS" THING IS IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER BY FIRST NAME*...I hate playing favorites and I love all of you!

A little about me: I am originally from Texas, I have a very unique mix of interests/hobbies (look left to see what those are), I'm a huge nerd (don't believe me? ask my friends), and the most important thing in my life is my faith in Christ and being obedient to what He has called me to do. Knowing Jesus continually fills my heart with joy, and if you're a Seeker I hope that you can experience the same joy in Him that I've found :-). In the near-future I intend to leave the country for a long period of time (not sure where yet). And I'd like to get back out to the Great Plains too and see lots of tornados!

Music:

Too much!!! I'm picky on a song-by-song basis. I don't like a lot of rap/r&b, country, or cheesy pop music (though there are always exceptions), but most other genres contain a number of songs that I like :).

Movies:

Cars, anything with Gene Wilder, anything involving Mel Brooks, Napoleon Dynamite, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, most girly chick flicks, Office Space, Narnia, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Television:

The Crocodile Hunter (Rest in Peace, Steve-o!), Mythbusters, nerdy science/history documentaries, the Travel Channel, Court TV (especially those high speed police chases)

The Bible, the "Perspectives" textbook, Wallace and Hobbs (ok yeah, that was a joke), Passion for the Heart of God, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Tess of the D'Urbervilles, The Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Flies, Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, Far from the Madding Crowd, Mere Christianity, Captivating, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Screwtape Letters.
