Minority Report
Minority Report came about in 2003 when Kissy K and Precise decided to make a conscious effort to put things together and get some stuff out !!! They hooked up with Kumari in the same year and it all went from there recording started end of 2004, Kumari was to provide the Ying to their Yang!! Minority Report represents a collaboration of three individual MCs with their own individual styles.
Kissy K is the cousin of Virgo Vilan, but unlike Virgo Vilan he is more conscious and the lyrics are not as sick. He originated from the HardCore Coalition which is where he first met Precise who was part of the group. HardCore Coalition is a well-known freestyle group. Kissy K is re-noun as an accomplished freesyler. Kissy Ks solo projects are comin soon, featuring Virgo Villian.
Precise Da Analyzer was formally on the Tuh-ram-goat label. Precise is known as a punch line, metaphor MC. Hes bought out a few records, the last being the acritically acclaimed double a side, The Quake/ Baby Darling. "The Hackney Man" Precise has recently toured with The Foreign Beggars, Manage, Dr Syntax and Screin. Precise is also working on his solo material so look out!!
Kumaris very first project was back in the 90s appearing on an all female posse track called Apocalyptic Visions released as part of a UK compilation album. Kumari hooked up with Kissy K and Precise through Honey B who she was working with at the time on a few collaboration tracks. Kumaris solo stuff is also in the pipeline along with more Minority Report and tracks with Honey B.
The first track Minority recorded was Who You A Look Pon, followed by What We About? (both produced by Dun Gorgan ) Who You A Look Pon was a pretty straight forward 16 bars a piece, with the obvious subject matter of , What you looking at?. What We About was a mix up of each MC doin one liners of what they about. Other tracks like Breakin News embraces a different format, each MC taking on a character role, Kumari as the presenter, Precise as the reporter and Kissy K as the man on the street.
