monkee

well.. they think i'm a maine coon mix. most recently,a vet thought i was himalayan. but i'm just a cat. animals don't think about colors, breeds, sex, etc. we are just cats. sure some of us cats are definitely better looking than others. YES, i am gorgeous. but since i don't have an ego like you humans do, being gorgeous doesn't mean much to us except that humans like to scratch our heads a little more and say "who's the most gorgeous kitty in the world?". i like the head scratching!i live with my crazy ass owner who i adore and my mother. yes, they say she's my real mamma. we look alike. she's smaller in size but she's fat. she's a big momma. momma likes to eat a lot. i have to let her eat first or she gets mad. but that's alright. she's my mama and i love her. my favorite thing to do is to clean her head.we live in LA. our previous owner (who was originally from Long Island and then moved to the valley, CA) died of cancer. luckily, our current owner, the crazy one, adopted us and brought us into a home where we can still enjoy the outdoors. i love smelling the grass and feeling the sunshine on my face. we have to deal with a few other cats here in our little casita complex but basically we all get along. Sammy the squirrel likes to fuck with us but it's all in good fun. there's also that big white possum that THINKS he lives here but we try to set him straight. we do let him drink water and eat food though because we don't want to see him starve. and for the most part, he doesn't bother us. he's just hungry.So i weigh almost 9 lbs. i'm black with a really cool white stripe running down my neck that almost looks like a goatee. i'm hot. really. they think i'm around 7 cat years which makes me around 35 human years (like my owner!). i used to be called "baby" but my current crazy owner changed that. i love her more for that. i like "monkee" way better. it's got sass. my owner had a dear crazy friend called Lily who used to call her cats "monkees" and i guess it just stuck.life is good.-monkee
