They were the band that did Marquee Moon! However, here are some of my fvourite programmes from the ol' goggle box...
Books are great and nearly always better than any subsequent film. This was never truer than with, what can only be described as the greatest book of all time, The O.E. DICTIONARY!!!!! FANTASTIC BOOK: SHIT FILM!!! Anyway, aside from the OED, other books that stand out for me include: 'A Dolls House' by Henrick Ibsen, 'Short Cuts' by Raymond Carver, anything by Chaucer, 'Look Back in Anger' by John Osborne, all Roald Dahl and Most Shakespeare. Yes, I know most of what I just listed are actually plays, but they make for a good read too!
Lord Nelson, Winston Churchill, John Lennon, Holly Golightly, Shakespeare, Andy Peters, King Nebuchadnezzar, Queen Budicca... There are many great figures and heroic people all throughout history whom I have come to admire; however, none more than Indiana Jones and Captain James T. Funkin' Kirk!!!!!!!!!!
