I enjoy most types of music. My parents were into 50's music and country while I was growing up so I love oldies. Mowtown was always playing in our house as well. As I grew up I learned to love country, blues, jazz, marching band, orchestra and native american music both traditional and contemporary. I've been even known to listen to rap now and then. hee hee, that's from hanging out with the kids all the time. My new music usually comes from friends that introduce me to other types of music. I am pretty open about my tunes.
I enjoy old movies like Gone with the Wind, The Count of Monte Christo, Casablanca and old Disney movies. I enjoy comedies, biographies, thrillers. I dont' enjoy scary movies or much sci fi. But I am usually willing to accompany friends to whatever movie they want to watch. I'll even watch kids movies like Nemo, A Toy Story and Shrek.
I don't really watch much television but I like shows on the Learning Channel and the Discovery channel, HGTV. I do have a weakness for American Idol. I love music.
I like biographies, anything by native american authors. Sherman Alexie is a favorite. Vine Deloria was my professor at the University of Arizona, he was a great man and a fantastic teacher. I also like to read Danielle Steel, Sidney Sheldon for entertainment.
My heroes are my mom who passed on 12 years ago, my Creator, the kids in the San Carlos Boys & Girls club and the Bylas Youth Council, my cousins Gail and Lori, My aunt Joey, My dad, My grandma Clark.
