About Me

Originally from Cali, moved to Jackson when I was 14. After high school moved to San Diego and took a year off of college (had 1 year at UW). After a year there I moved to Santa Barbara. Worked as a ski/snowboard tech as I attended the University of California at Santa Barbara. I got my degree in Psychology but to this day, I feel that I was rewarded more in a personal manner than professional in terms of my studys.
After graduation I moved to Boulder, Colorado and lived there for three years with a couple of foot-in-the-door type jobs. I was given the opportunity to learn the basics of graphic and web design there, that would eventually lead to my career choice.
After a while Boulder got old and I missed the greatest place on Earth... so I decided to head back home to Jackson and start a graphic and web design business.
Been back for almost 6 years and love it "Hole'ly". I do not love Jackson for the great skiing or the excellent fishing, although it is sweet to have available whenever I need it.
I am still here for the people that I grew up with or around. There is and always will be a special love with the people that grew up in Jackson. It is a community that comes together when one of it's members needs them. I feel that I "Nezz" was born here and I intend to die here. Love to live and live to love.
I have just started a new business recently that will focus primarily on keeping new money in Jackson and give local businesses an opportunity to benefit from the new homes and buildings that are being developed.
You cannot fight change and growth, but you can educate and promote those businesses that help make Jackson "The Last of the Old West."
I enjoy the outdoors when I have a chance to get out there. I love to design new things and find the appropriate mood music to enhance my design time.
I love art and respect any and all who take the time to express there skills.
I have a super dog that means the world to me. He is my pal and is always there to greet me and show me love.
I try to get back to California about once a year for the shellfish, smell of the ocean and nastalgia . Not to mention the "views" Cali has to offer.

My Interests

Obviously computers....design....being creative. I enjoy snowboarding, skiing, wakeboarding and especially GOLF. I do not know what it is about golf that is relaxing. There is a sense of accomplishment and a little exercise at the same time.
I enjoy movies and music immensely. Something about getting lost in a good story or song that soothes the soul.
I love to work at design. For me it is a great way to express art and cure boredom. Why not create something new and make a couple extra bucks while doing it.
Plus for me, there is nothing more rewarding for me than to see my work, displayed on stores, brochures, the web..... pretty neat.

What else....I do alot of people watching, probably the Psych coming out a bit but I think people are pretty interesting...for the most part.
I would say that I am a pretty genuine person who likes to help people out and make people happy. I say it like it is and I try to live by the creto: live to love and love to live.
I have learned alot about life as a whole in my short but long 30 years and would love to continue to experience all that is thrown in my direction.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet or would like to have met:
My fathers mother (my grandmother) - I have just heard she was a really cool lady.
Mostly, actually....the person that I want to meet is sitting at home right now, somewhere I have never been, leading a life I have never led, dreaming things I have never dreampt, but wondering about the same things I do.

Music:

Pretty much anything.
For instance I am listening to Ozomatli right now, but I was listening to The Doors fifteen minutes ago and Ice Cube before that.
I really appreciate music, unfortunately not able to play anything.
It is on my to do list for the future. In all of my spare time that is.
I have really been into a classic R&B phaze lately. Al Greene, Wilson Pickett, The Temptations, James Brown, Gladys Knight and the Pips...Let us see what the next mood brings...
