Guitars, women, interesting smells, martial arts, guns, sobriety(no longer an active addict), reading, writing, standup(watching and doing it for amateur night)......are you still reading this??
I don't understand this category. Is it anyone? Living or dead? Dimebag Darrell, Mahatma Ghandi, Martin Luther King Jr., Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Joe Satriani, Stephen Carpenter(Go Def) Alexi Laiho, Dickey Betts, Philena Peterson(again) Allan Holdsworth, The Rev. Billy Gibbons, Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Terra Blanchard(because I might just be ready this time), Roger Zelazny, Tom Scholz, Steven King, a hot MILF(again) and a LOT of other people that have made an impact on my steps into a larger world.

Music Codes - MySpace Layouts

This shit ROCKS, check it out at rebelmeetsrebel.com ) Sarah M., Des'ree, Jamie Coon(a really soulful singer, check her out at JamieCoon.com), Mariah Carey(I fuckin love the harmonies she does and the high notes she hits, she's the master), Cole Porter, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Mountain, A Perfect Circle, anything by Santana, Dream Theater, Opeth, The Fray, Contagious Energy(Thanks be to Allison!) Stevie Ray Vaughan, Henry Garza, Kenny Wayne Shepherd(you try being sixteen and writing Blue On Black), Rusty Cooley, Outkast, 311, Atreyu, NIN(I'm a big fan of musically inclined disturbed people), anything with a melodic acoustic guitar line.....
I also really really like the song ' Rush Rush' from Paula Abdul.....for special reasons known only to me and Philena .... you get the gist, and I'm tired of typing now
Just saw a movie called Garden State......one of the funniest, most poignant films I've seen in years.....dead hamsters, horny dogs, a flaming bow and arrow, and a guy trying desperately to get off of mood levelers and feel something, anything. Check it out, you'll be glad you did. Also, anything by Kevin Smith. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. (always be sure you know where your towel is......MAGRATHEA!!!!! IT'S MAGRATHEA, I KNOW IT IS!!!) All of Bruce Lee's films. (had to slow down the film, that guy was so fast)
We're living at a time in human history that information and entertainment, in more forms than ever before, are readily available to almost anyone, anywhere.....and people are still watching TV. (sigh) I know I'm not the first to say it, nor will I be the last.........REALITY TV KILLED TV, AND IT'S ROTTING YOUR BRAIN!!!!!!!!!
Read a book.
No, seriously, read a damn book.
My favorite book is nothing classic, not like Love in the Time of Cholera, although that's a fine novel.......I'm kind of a science fiction buff, and Roger Zelazny's Amber books, in the collected volume, takes up 1260 pages, takes me about a week to read, and I do it once a year if not more. Try it, you might like it. Also.......ANYTHING by Stephen King, Harlan Coben, John Sandford(which I know is a fake name, but it's a fake name for a Pulitzer Prize winning author, so fuck ya), and the most recent addition, Jack Kerley..(hell of a nice guy on an email communication, as is Harlan Coben, just so you know)..check out the Hundredth Man, you'll be glad you did.
Kathy, Steve and Zepher, for everything
Philena for never judging and ALWAYS listening
Jason for judging but doing it in a funny way
Jen for teaching me that women can be shifty and smarter than you
Allison for teaching me that women don't always have to be shifty...sometimes they just wanna love you for who you are(You taught me more on that subject than I thought I could learn...Thanks...All should bow to the gloriously gorgeous blue-eyed Amazon).
And finally......the Princess.....future Queen of New Canada.....sometimes you know what you want and you go after it.......but mostly, the best things show up when you aren't looking for them.
Such was the case with her.
Thanks baby, for everything you are and will be.
I love you.
