His inspiration came at a young age listening to the rhymes of Slick Rick, Eric B. and Rakem, Too Short, Rob Bass, Run DMC,and Kool Mo Dee. At age 11, C$INO wrote his first rap for his school campaign. Since then, he has continued writing rhymes and gathering inspiration from legends such as Tupac, Ice Cube, Notorious B.I.G., Goodie Mob, Scarface, EPMD, and Nas, EightBall MJG, UGK . "I realized I could rap from writing poetry when I was younger. I found a rhythm to the words. I grew up listening to many cats at my Mama's Barber Shop, O.G.'s in the hood, and my smooth-talking uncles, I realized I could tell stories with my rhymes."
- C$INOIn 2002, C$INO set out to make his break. Fate brought a local upcoming producer his way interested in finding local artists to collaborate with. The path was laid from this point on. C$INO has made a name for himself represeting Duval County. He has performed at top clubs in Jacksonville and has been played on 92.7 The Beat, Hot 105.7 and was the most requested in 2006, as well. He has been featured on a worldwide DVD 'SSI: Stunt Scene Investigation' by Stunt Ragz. This opportunity opened the flood gates for his music to be spread from the East and West Coasts of The United States to Europe and Japan.In 2007, C$INO began working with a local videographer to collaborate on his first big-screen music video for his hit song, 'Mind Ya Own.' This dirty south song mixed with the fast paced action of the video are sure to catch everyone's eye. Be on the lookout for 'Mind Ya Own's' Worldwide debut!Last year also broke ground for 'The 1 U Win Wit' to explore his own directing talents with his underground street movie, "Cellphonez."
